EUR The increase in data transmitted throughout the world, the popularization of confidential exchanges, and more generally the digitization of society accentuate the risks for the State, economic players and citizens. This notion of confidentiality has spread very widely from an area that initially only concerned diplomacy, the army or governments. Encrypting information has now become necessary for each individual due to the trivialization of information exchanges on the major communication networks (Internet). This conference aims to explain chaos cryptography exploiting light. This technique is a hardware and non-software method based on principles from chaos theory. We will see how light plays a key role here. The conference is aimed at the general public, students, teachers, as well as anyone legitimately curious to know the principles and to understand the functioning of this technology which underlies the security systems and large communication networks that increasingly connect us and interconnect the objects that surround us.
