Majority Knows CoinDCX As The Leading Crypto Exchange

CoinDCX, India’s leading and most valuable crypto company, conducted an empirical study in 15 cities to understand the crypto awareness created by exchanges across India. The survey, which had more than 2,000 respondents across all platforms, was conducted in partnership with Kantar, the global leader in analytics and consulting.

The survey indicated that brand awareness is at 91%, which is almost universal and highest among crypto users compared to other crypto exchanges. While 74% of non-crypto users are also aware of CoinDCX. Over 41% of respondents, including both crypto and non-crypto users, said they spontaneously remembered CoinDCX, with 21% having a priority memory of the exchange. This was followed by other top exchanges around the world.

It is worth mentioning that awareness and app trials for CoinDCX are higher in the East Zone among crypto users. Additionally, the research indicated that consideration for CoinDCX as a brand is 79% among female crypto users compared to 67% among male crypto users. However, the lack of credible information and the jargons associated with investments make them reluctant to invest.

The study highlights significant variations in the overall awareness, acceptance and perception of digital assets among different demographic and geographic segments in India. Having a simple interface as well as safety and security features in place were important hygiene factors that were considered by respondents for choosing CoinDCX as their preferred exchange. Overall, the research indicated that CoinDCX as an exchange stands out as a “user-friendly platform”, “ease of withdrawing money and “has the best referral program”.

While newspapers, online articles and stories are the top drivers among unencrypted users, the data also indicated that referrals from friends and family helped gain more trust.
