A great sale for Yuga Labs – Yuga Labsthe company behind the collection of NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), recently unveiled the NFTs of its metaverse. Despite a chaotic launch, some of these NFTs are already snapping up at exorbitant prices. Indeed, a otherdeed was sold for over$1.5 million.
Otherside and the Otherdeeds
On April 30, the company Yuga Labs has sold the otherdeeds, the plots of his upcoming metaverse. In total, 55,000 NFTs were put on sale at the price of 305 APE (ApeCoin) piece, i.e. more than $7,000 at the time of sale. This sale brought in $320 million to Yuga Labs, making it the most profitable NFT sale in the industry.
Holders of the Bored Ape and Mutant Ape collections received 30,000 Otherdeeds additional.
However, this sale was not without a hitch, since the increase in fees resulted in the failure of many transactions and the fury of investors.
Unfortunately, the average price of Otherdeeds did only fall since their release. So the floor price is passed from 3.9 to 2.65 ETH within ten days. Of course, some sales still stand out, with several Otherdeeds selling between $700,000 and $1 million.
However, that didn’t stop another record sale from taking place.
