Ledger launches its marketplace dedicated to NFTs – CryptoActu

Ledger, the French unicorn of crypto hardware wallets, is launching a marketplace NFT to secure the purchase, sale and creation of non-fungible tokens. At the same time, it announces a Web3 service platform for brands and a Play-to-Learn to strengthen its desire for popular education.

Attacking the NFTs

The tricolor flagship of cryptographic custody is laying its foundations in Web3. At the biannual “OP3N” conference in New York, Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier announced the launch of a marketplace dedicated to NFTs and an custodial solution for these non-fungible tokens for companies. He also mentioned a series of products for educational purposes focused on learning about Web3 and its security.

Ledger Market will be, according to the press release, “the only safe place to create and buy NFTs while securely interacting with this ever-expanding world.” The emphasis, as expected from the global crypto security giant, is on transparency and security, which is not nothing in a Web3 industry undermined by the scourge of scams of all kinds. And in this register, Ledger obviously has the best assets to put forward, in absolute terms and relative to other dedicated platforms which do not shine by their level of reliability.

A platform dedicated to companies and brands

As part of its expansion to Web3, Ledger Market can already boast collaborations with the Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer in particular, but also with several collections of NFT like DeadFellaz and RTFKT. A first batch which will probably see others insofar as Ledger launches a tailor-made service, Ledger Enterprise Createto help businesses and brands protect and retain their NFTs.

Besides creators and everyday users, other players such as brands, charities and financial institutions are also increasingly moving into the NFT space and recognizing the true value of digital property. For Ledger Enterprisewhose goal is to enable organizations to secure and scale their digital value, NFTs are a key customer segment for growth.

Communicated ledger

Finally, and while a crying need for pedagogy is emerging as the crypto industry and its Web3 turn imposes itself on the landscape, Ledger is strengthening its contribution to the education of all in this register. The company will therefore launch in the fall of 2022 a platform Play-to-Learn on all aspects of the ecosystem, including the metaverse. Ledger Quest will partner in its NFT side with popular projects like Apecoin or World of Women.
