American rapper Snoop Dogg is going to collaborate with restaurant chain Food Fighters Universe to create a dessert restaurant themed around his NFT Bored Ape Yatch Club (BAYC). This is the second restaurant of this type launched by the franchise.

Recently, Food Fighters Universe announced its collaboration with Snoop Dogg for the launch of his new restaurant. This one will be called “Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration” and should be established in Los Angeles in the United States. As a reminder, “Dr. Bombay” is the pseudonym assigned to the avatar Bored Ape by Snoop Dogg.
The new establishment promise to immerse its customers in a unique tasting experience with, as a bonus, an immersion in the world of the American rapper’s Bored Ape. It takes up the concept of Bored & Hungry, a fast food launched last April by Food Fighters Universe. This uses BAYC characters belonging to its owners for its visual identity.
Indeed, BAYC token holders have an exclusive right with regard to the exploitation of their digital assets for commercial purposes. So even though there is no direct relationship between this initiative and Yuga Lab, the startup behind the BAYC collection, Snoop Dogg is free to use his NFT in this way.
Separately, Food Fighters Universe intends to release a collection of 10,000 food-focused NFTs. They will be hosted on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain and will allow you to benefit from several advantages within its restaurants.
The American rapper is definitely an NFT buff
Through this project, Snoop Dogg continues his commitment to promoting NFTs. Indeed, he is one of the emblematic figures of this industry.
First, the rapper participated in the creation of NFTs inspired by the Nyan Cat meme. Additionally, he has taken part in projects such as The Sandbox and Clay Nation. On the other hand, he revealed last year that he was hiding behind the mysterious ‘Cozomo de’ Medici’. This is a Twitter account that features a series of multimillion-dollar collectibles, including CryptoPunks, BlockArt, and XCOPY NFTs.
Also, during the VeeCon 2022 conference, Snoop Dogg revealed that it was his son, Cordell Broadus, who sparked his interest in NFTs. Moreover, this one is also concerned by the opening of the new restaurant. Commenting on the news, he said: “Food Fighters Universe bridges the gap between food and Web3 and paves the way with real utility for NFTs. […] This is the future of the restaurant industry, and my father and I are thrilled to join the team and use their expertise to bring Dr. Bombay to life”.
