For now, interested customers will need to join the platform’s waitlist, but if you’re interested, here’s what you need to know.
Odyssey: what is it?
Brady Brewer who is the executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the coffee giant in the United States, said that leveraging web 3.0 technology will enable their members to access experiences and ownership that n were not possible before. Starbucks Odyssey will transcend the core benefits their Starbucks Rewards members have come to appreciate, and unlock digital, physical and experiential benefits that are unique to Starbucks.
Odyssey by Starbucks: what are the advantages?
Given that the objective of this new platform is to gain and retain customer loyalty, the user experience is a focal point of this program. Brewer said Starbucks’ existing rewards ecosystem will be integrated into Odyssey and the goal is to provide customers with an engaging and immersive coffee experience that celebrates cultural heritage and provides a sense of community unity. In short, everyone wins!
How to use Starbucks Odyssey?
Starbucks said in an official press release that current Starbucks Rewards members can access the Odyssey platform using their existing login credentials, and after logging in, they can engage in “Starbucks Odyssey Journeys.” ”. Starbucks Odyssey Journeys feature a variety of activities, such as interactive games, fun challenges, and information about coffee and Starbucks, as well as other engaging activities. You may think of the rewards as collectible stamps and their value may increase over time.
Note that upon completing Odyssey Voyages, members will receive a collectible Digital Voyage Stamp, which is an NFT, as a reward. As you can see, big companies are moving at the pace of web3 and things are getting better and better. It will be necessary to wait a little before being able to benefit from this experience in France.
