The idea

With her partners, Emmanuelle Dubois, founder of Ideactics in 2011, a communication agency in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, co-founded in 2021 CoInception, the first French agency specializing in the creation of NFT works for brands. It connects companies with a community of digital artists to create a unique certified digital graphic work to enhance the brand.

The challenge

After working for 12 years in Paris for major brands and creating her communication agency in the South 10 years ago, Emmanuelle Dubois felt the interest for companies to use these new technologies that use cryptocurrency and blockchain to buy NFTs. “There is a certain education to be done with the client”, she acknowledges. However, better than a classic advertising campaign, the creation of an original NFT work offers a real publicity stunt by creating buzz around the brand or product, builds loyalty and engages its crypto-customers and can ensure new income. .

The concept

The agency, service provider, offers tailor-made support from A to Z. The client defines his objectives, the agency carries out a brand audit, offers several portfolios of various artists, the client selects one, the The artist produces a sketch or model submitted to the client for validation and works to order. The work is then registered in the blockchain to be put up for sale. “Our crypto experts check the technical characteristics of the file to be secured and mint the non-fungible tokens on the appropriate blockchain for the project.” Each campaign is billed like a classic agency communication campaign.

The capital gain

The NFT can be sold in limited edition or associated with privileges (reduction on the purchase of brand products in a logic of customer loyalty and commitment, access to exclusive sales, events). Proceeds from the sale can be donated to charity. The brand can also offer NFTs to its customers or auction them. “That’s what we call a Nifty brand” whose neologism has been filed with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property).

investment

Emmanuelle Dubois and her partner Ludovic Galampoix, creative director based in Paris and supervisor of the artist community, created CoInception in 2021. They took on as other partners Olivier Giraud, technical developer manager, and Sandra Le Guillant, for communication digital and campaign promotion. 10,000 euros were invested in equity at creation which will be “reinforced” another 10,000 euros soon before considering approaching Bpifrance and investors.

The goal

The startup already brings together a community of around twenty artists, graphic designers and illustrators, all selected for their talents and creativity, from classic to digital (3D, pop art, illustration, fine arts inspiration, typographic work, collage, photo , motion design, cartoon, video, illustration, pixel art). Several projects are already underway in the luxury, cosmetics, agri-food and finance sectors, in particular for brands of biscuits, marine cosmetics, in the world of sport and luxury watchmaking which should see the light of day from next March/April.
